In this typography poster, I chose to highlight the typeface Lubalin Graph designed by Herb Lubalin. In my research, something I found interesting was that Herb Lubalin was colorblind. I found it fascinating that his inability to distinguish colors was never a disability for him as a designer. It increased his creativity and led him to create beautiful high-contrast designs. Based on my research I began design explorations that included color, alphabet, and quotes. The sketches and research lead to the creation of different posters emphasizing the overall aesthetic of the typeface. In the finalized triptych poster I combined my explorations along with a color palette that is easiest for people who are colorblind to see.
